How to create a New project in Primavera P6

How to create a project
Step By Step

1.First of all open the Graphical interface of your software.

2.Then Go to the File Option select the new option and another window is open.

3. New Window
Select the Browse Button and yo have view an other window.

4. In this window you select  Your EPS (Enterprise Project Structure)  you can select EPS according to your Project for example  if your project is related to IT you can select IT department if you have doing another project related to Corporate ,Manufacturing ,Construction, etc. You have all these EPS option to create your project in Proper section. 

After the selection of EPS press ths + Sign that mention in Circle.

5. After that you have seen a new window you can press the next button and another window is open on this window you can create Project Id and Project Name.

Then Press the Next Button

6. In this Step you mention Start and end date of your Project then Press the Next Button.

7.After Press the Next button you can see another window on this window you can select the responsible manager .

First you select Browse button

Then you can view the list of manager 

select the desire person and press the + sign that mention in circle

8. After that you have an another window that is given below on this screen  you can mention assignment rate type .

G to the drop down menu and select the Standard rate you have also three to Four option but most probably we select standard rate and press the next Button.

10. after pressing the next button you have open a new window  that indicate the message Congratulations your new project is created and then you press the Finish .

11. Finally you can go to the main menu screen and go to the EPS that you selected in this project we select It and you can see your Project on IT department portion.
